Matthew Qualified as a Dental Surgeon from the University of Bristol and has been working at TG’s since 2012. Matthew enjoys all aspects of dentistry and believes in providing holistic care for all his patients. The practice is able to draw on Matthews knowledge of dentistry, having worked as a Dentist for over 30 years, and also his experiences within dental practice, having previously owned his own practice. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys riding his bike.
Conor qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 2012 and joined the TG’s team in the very same year. Since qualifying, he has been continually expanding his dental knowledge through courses such as a the one year dental implant program with the Tipton Academy. Conor is also able to offer adult short-term aesthetic orthodontics and facial cosmetic treatments with the advanced use of botulinum toxin, dermal fillers and skin rejuvenation treatments.
Outside of work, Conor enjoys doing varied exercises, travelling (here and abroad), food and drink, and of course spending quality time with family, friends and his trusted dog, Alfie.
Cherise qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist in 2015 having previously been a Dental Nurse.
Cherise started as a Dental Nurse Trainee in Market Harborough and went on to become a fully qualified nurse. After 4 years she decided to become a Dental Hygienist and fulfilled her dream at Portsmouth University. She returned home in 2015 and has been with the team since.
In her spare time, Cherise loves to bake cakes and was once part of an amateur baking group in Southsea. She loves to make novelty cakes for friends and family to enjoy. Cherise also keeps fit and active by running and she has completed several 10k runs and half marathons for various charities.
Sandra has been with the team since it first began back in 1998. She has been a cornerstone of the practice and has been a key aspect in making TG’s Dental Suite what it is today. Sandra likes to spend time with her grandchildren and family with whom she holds most dear. Sandra likes to watch sport, rather than taking part as she did when she was younger and fitter, but she still likes to run a little to keep fit. Sandra also enjoys reading, going to the theatre and socialising with friends.
Ann qualified as a dental nurse in 1996. Having worked in surgery for almost 20 years, Ann finally decided to move into the role of Clinical coordinator. This position was developed specifically for her as it is now essential that the Practice adheres to all the new rules and regulations set out by the CQC. Ann ensures that we are doing things right and that we are always doing what is in the patients best interests. Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Business & Administration.
Ann finds her role very satisfying and rewarding. She likes the everyday complexities that she faces on a day to day basis. ‘I work alongside a great team of caring people and they are like an extension of my family’
In her spare time, Ann enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, swimming and socialising with friends.
Hollie has been dental nursing since 2009 and has an NEBDN National Certificate from Birmingham. She is also a trained Emergency First Aider and has an A1 award in Assessing
Competence in the workplace and preparing to teach in the lifelong sector (PTTLS) Special Interest - Dental sector.
Hollie joined the team in March 2016 and has a friendly calming approach towards patients. She especially enjoys working with nervous patients and getting them at ease once into the dental chair. She also enjoys the cosmetic aspects of dentistry.
In her spare time, she enjoys vintage shopping, socialising with friends, running and dog walks
Rachel has a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 QCF City & Guilds from Northampton University. Having become a dental nurse since she moved to Northampton in 2011, she has been working with us at TG’s since April 2014. Rachel enjoys all aspects of dental nursing and especially the daily interaction with patients. Rachel is looking forward to furthering her career and aspires to become Practice Manager one day.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and going to concerts.
Gemma began as an Apprentice Dental Nurse at TG’s in July 2016 and has settled into the team extremely well. After having finished her A-Levels, Gemma decided to do an apprenticeship as opposed to heading off to University. Her long-term plan is to become a Dental Hygienist & Therapist. She is also working towards her National Diploma Level 3 in Dental nursing and hopes to complete this in the very near future.
In her spare time, Gemma enjoys travelling, walking her dog, reading and of course shopping!
