Children’s Dentistry

We look after children from their first visit, keeping appointments short and unhurried so the dentist becomes routine rather than something to dread. Dentally fit under-6s are seen free where a sibling, parent or guardian holds a membership plan, and every visit is paced to how the child is feeling.

What it is and who it's for

Children’s dentistry covers routine care for younger patients, from their very first visit through to their teenage years, with appointments paced to keep children calm and confident. It suits every family registered at TG’s Dental Suite, however nervous or relaxed a child feels about the dentist.

How treatment works

  1. First visit

A gentle, unhurried look at your child’s teeth so the dentist becomes a familiar, routine part of life.

  2. Regular check-ups

Two examinations a year keep track of how their teeth and jaw are developing.

  3. Treatment, if needed

General dentistry (scale and polish, fillings and extractions where the dentist judges it necessary) explained in language your child understands.
